Make up artists have got their own talents, For example creativity, lots of imagination and pause. use their own tools for a makeover, Makeup artist, in the most simplistic terms, provide a physical transformation via a wide variety of products from the beginning beauty industry. Professionals often use what they may call secret, products or tricks that differ from those applying makeup to themselves. It is a versatile and far- reaching  job that strays into a variety of industries, film television, theatre/ musicals, fashion and photography A slight misconception in regards to makeup artists is that they partake in a  beautification process (emphasising) the clients desired features,  and softening those they find less desirable) this the most common,  but not always  the case. Makeup can often be used  to create theatrical and exaggerated features, or perhaps horror elements. In this sense, it can have some crossover with different  jobs, for example special effects/ fx  artists must be talented at adapting to changing beauty standards perhaps add skills to their range that might enjoy  hollywood glamour, vibrant 80’s  looks  of what  to look at though they stepped from  an Art  deco  poster. This is expecially Important in the theatre/ musical  and film industry as plays or films set in different time periods will require a  makeup artists who can make the actors look authentic to the time. On the other hand, sometimes realism is the last requirement. Films/ theatre productions  may need actors to look otherworldly and alien (sci-fi) or fantastical ( fantasy genre) As far  as earnings go makeup artists might have a  steady working at a theatre  company,  particular show/ movie ( temporary) freelance work, or a  combination in recent years the online  beauty influencers has become another sector of the makeup on  themselves and then shares their  work via social  platform and earns a living via their following / fan engagement, merchandise or  brand deals.  It  Is a fascinating  new phenomenon as the one  once  behind  the scenes moves  to the forefront. A makeup  artist earnings differ according to their field and level of experience. The guardian points out that the newly- qualified earn £25,500 per  year.

unit 5 6 & 7

UNIT 5:    memory   I was very excited when my mum and dad said  i was about to start nursery,  i was three years old also there was a lot of children my age which i was happy to be able to play with children my age, but i was also shy. In the play garden they had slides, sand pits, prams, and baby dolls which i loved because i always used to like getting messy in the sand pit and i liked playing with the baby dolls.
