Monologue - Unit 8 'Looking Out Of The Window'
I am looking out of my bedroom window thinking how, this pandemic has changed everyone's lives because no one can really go out! we cant interact with each other. But we can talk by messaging family and friends and we can can facetime each other, me and my cousin both suffer from anxiety. we both comfort each other we spoke about what my cousin is going through because where she is a transgender, her name is Jade and she went to an all girls school. Since jade was in year 9 she always knew that she was more like a boy than a girl, she was always bullied at school because she always wore guys clothes more than girl clothes, she changed her name in to a guys name so she likes being called by that name which is Perry, he is a 21 year old that lives in east London with his mum and little sister, his a working class, he also recently finished university and graduated and he studied English. The pandemic has made it hard to find work particularly difficult to find a job for everyone, my cousin said it has given himself some valuable time to work on some skills that he never really has time for his been practicing his drawing and painting skills since that's a big passion of his also his doing blog writing. He says we have to motivate ourselves to stay mentally encouraged during this difficult time, his dream is to be a good friend, brother, son, cousin and boyfriend in the future.
